About: In this workshop, Jennifer Kollasch LMHC, DDMHS, will provide psycho-education about what is happening in our nervous systems when we experience trauma and how it affects our thinking and relating to the world. The Polyvagal Theory is discussed to help understand how our different body states adapt for protection and healing. Deborah King has earned her E-RYT 200, RYT 500: Yoga Alliance; Advanced Teacher of Yoga Therapy: Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy. She leads an hour yoga practice with a focus on using awareness to discover alignment, and exploration of and deep connection to the body’s story, whether in the context of movement or stillness. All levels of practice, all bodies welcome.
