A Bit About Jen
I love learning and exploring the interconnectivity of our mind-body-spirit. Specifically, how the body-mind operates, communicates with one another, and how they process emotions and connect with our Spirit (also described as Self and Soul). I believe integration of knowledge is diverse within our different systems of knowing (mind-body) and through our different body states within the central nervous system. I started my career in the mental health field as a volunteer in a homeless and transitional housing shelter for women and kids. I worked mostly with children tutoring and offering an art therapy class for processing domestic violence. Then, I worked at a community mental health agency, Sound Health, where I supported individuals with co-occurring intellectual disability and mental health concerns. I quickly learned the value of working with the community such as the client's support staff, family members, and other practitioners. In my private practice I offer three different services: Individual Psychotherapy, Reiki, and Inner Wisdom Coaching. See my Welcome page for services.
